Space Tether - a step into the future
We aim to revolutionize space travel through the creation of a groundbreaking system: a space tether. This innovative approach involves deploying and rotating a long cable connected to a counterweight. It efficiently assists spacecraft in overcoming Earth's gravity by utilizing rotational momentum to lift them out. To sustain the rotational energy, incoming spacecraft will be decelerated using the tether. Any energy loss will be addressed by electric engines on the tether weights.
